A gathering of people who find hope, follow Jesus and work together to see our city transformed

Weekly gathering :10am Sunday

We are a church in Joondalup, WA. A community where anyone can find a place to belong, ALL are included and you are welcome. We come from all walks of life and faith, with all kinds of stories, so no matter where you come from, how long it's been or why you are interested in visiting, there is room for you.

At Sanctuary we are just beginning to discover who we are called to be as a new community...some things we know so far, we are unashamed of our Pentecostal roots, seeking a sacramental rhythm and developing a peacemaking practice. We are a church where the contemplative and charismatic are embraced, where intentional teaching and liturgy liberate so the Holy Spirit can remake us each week, more like Jesus. You are welcome as we "allow grace to get at us" at such depths that we cant help but live God's love and seek first the Kingdom's healing justice, in our hurting world.

You can check out what we have been sharing lately by downloading some past messages, or get to know us by checking out the 'about us', 'Our stories' and 'Our team' pages.

It is all about Jesus

We believe in God- Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that God revealed Himself fully to us in Jesus, and that through Jesus He has begun the revolutionary restoration and reconciliation of the world unto Himself, the Good News of his coming Kingdom that is being made known to the world through his Church.  We believe in the authority and power of the written Word revealed to us fully in the living Word, Jesus.

We would love to see you!

let Justice flow like a river

Sanctuary church acknowledges the custodians of this land, the Nyoongah people who have been entrusted by creator God with its care for thousands of years. We recognise with respect the stewardship and connection with the earth, air and waters, and the leadership of the elders, past, present, and emerging. Like the voices of the ancestors heard in the sound of trees blowing in the wind, may we all hear from and with first Nations people, learning from the wisdom in all of creation.
