  • Tara - Lead PASTOR/ Organisation CHAIR

    Married in 2004, Tara and husband Duncan have 2 girls, Grace and Jaeda, and currently 2 boys through foster caring also.  With a background in building and carpentry, Duncan is an avid sports fan and outdoorsman.

    Pastor Tara has a background in community based social work and completed social Science Degree before going on to post graduate theological studies. Currently leading the WA ACC department for community engagement, Tara is passionate about social justice, community and compassion,  Tara believes love is active and the gospel is something we live, which has led her to her roles both in ministry, serving the wider community and participating in activism with #lovemakesaway

  • Jarrod Mckenna - formation & Teaching

    Jarrod McKenna is the co-founder of First Home Project, a community welcoming, housing and “giving a hand up not a hand-out” to recently arrived refugees,  was a part of initiating the #LoveMakesAWay movement, and is a peace award winning nonviolent social change trainer, speaking and teaching all over the world including in the US, Canada, Middle East and Eastern Europe when not at home. Preaching and teaching for more than a decade, and carrying a teaching role at Cornerstone, Jarrod leads with his life first, although he certainly has a way with words.

  • Katie johnson - KIDS AND YOUTH

    Katie is part way to completing her studies in ministry/theology as well as also pursuing a career and holding a degree in Occupational Therapy. Katie works alongside the youth team across youth programs as well as heading up kids church and worship leading on Sundays. 

    Katie is passionate about equality and ethics and believes change starts with one, and is always the first to put up her hand to be the first.

  • nathan - Young Adults

    Degree Qualified Councillor by day, Podcaster, Comedic Relief and all round top guy, Nathan is a gatherer, encourager, deep thinker and has an ability to break open and bring life and insight through conversation and teaching.
